In August 2020 ObscureGamers lead a group buy to save a lot of
SEGA Saturn &
PlayStation 1 discs. Out of the lot all but 2 were saved. The two not saved had been dumped in the past and released so not a major loss.
The seller didn't include one disc, instead some none gaming stuff was included and some gay porn comics. The same discs data was released as part of Project Deluge so we didn't ask for a refund.
Drives used to dump
All discs have been dumped with a Plextor PX-W5224A on latest firmware, and with DICUI, unless the discs had C2 errors. In which case they're dumped with CloneCD. We tried dumping with other drives but, the plextor still gave the best results so all are plextor dumps.
Due to the
SEGA Saturn being tricky to date, unless otherwise stated the dates based of the most recent file.
