S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2 is a first-person post-apocalyptic survival shooter made by GSC Game World. Originally slated for a 2012 release, it was cancelled. With much surprise, on May 15, 2018, the game was announced for a 2021 release. On June 1st, 2021, a build of the game released. The date of the build was December 7, 2011, running on X-Ray Engine 2.0 compared to the 2021 version's Unreal Engine 4.
