Hey everyone,
Been discovering some interesting stuff leftover in Eurocom's PS2 version of 007 Quantum of Solace. Honestly, there's so much crap left on disc, that I'm too lazy to even make videos for all of it. I will, however, be posting codes on my forum page. I did make a couple of videos to showcase some of the key points of interest, though. One of these discoveries is an entirely scrapped mission, which was apparently to take place at MI6 Prague, where Bond kills Dryden and achieves his double-o status. This was a scene at the very beginning of the film Casino Royale, and Eurocom was even making it black and white to faithfully recreate the mood.
The other pretty neat discovery, is that Eurocom was working on their own rendition of the final cutscene where Bond finds Guy Haynes at his private estate. In the released game, Treyarch's pre-rendered cutscene was used instead. The videos can be found below:
Another big point of interest, is I learned pretty quickly that Eurocom's QOS was built on their Batman Begins engine. Countless test maps/assets remain from that game, and I will eventually post codes for them on my page. The actual character model for Batman can even be loaded, although it is quite busted.
Any codes can be found on my page:
Just thought this was a pretty sweet find, and wanted to share it.
