Alternate PS2 version of GTA 3 that has bumper camera view

Found a GTA 3 disc for PS2 that has the bumper camera view while in a vehicle.
Normal looking retail disc with all of the Sony holograms, works in unmodded PS2s.

Does anybody know anything about an alternate version of GTA 3?

The disc looks like a typical first-edition NTSC U/C GTA 3 disc and plays on unmodded PS2s.

Any people with Version 1.40 on PS2?

So I'm looking for PS2 version of GTA III - the original, Version 1.40 release. I wanna know exactly which discs are 1.40. How many people have this version? What does the disc look like? What's the code on the left side of the disc above the PS2 logo?

I've been hunting for one of the 1.40 UK discs myself and I know that this one has the post 9/11 black and white LCPD cars in both the game and the intro. If I extract the ISO is there somewhere I could check the version number?

Here's a quick shot of the first-person view in a drive-by and a longer shot of the bumper view camera. I can probably get better footage from PCSX2 and an LCD monitor, the TV throws off a shitload of noise and it's hard to drive while taping.
