Best Xbox 360 3rd Party Controllers?

So it seems wired Xbox 360 controllers are a bit of a relic when it comes to the NEW market. I'm in need of some 3rd party controllers for the cheap price and only really want something that is well contructed, not necesarilly 100% accurate to the originals, but something that isn't build like crap and something that has good wiring and is electrically sound. Not sure what damage a controller could do to a system, but I don't really want to be buying something that's not at least well made and comes reasonably close to Microsoft's standards of quality. Any suggestions on brands?

I'd say just pay a few bucks extra and go full first party. Little reason not to, seeing how cheap that old junk is.
If cash is really tight, maybe look out for easily-repaired broken ones, clean them and replace the thumbsticks - good as new.
