DDX to DDS

Does anyone know how to convert a DDX file to a DDS file is there a converter like that out there or does anybody know how to convert them my friends found a bunch of shit from the Halo Wars Alpha sway build files like the Scarab from the E3 2007 demo so I'm trying to help my friend put that Scarab into Halo Wars Definitive Edition what he needs is a way to convert DDX to DDS so your guys's help is much appreciated

Without a sample file I have not confirmed this will work for your exact files, but have you tried this "Skyrim-DDX-Tool" from GitHub? It attempts to convert DDX files to DDS files. There is some discussion on it at the PSX-Place forum in this thread. Good luck!
