I have this Gamecube NTSC to RGB adaptor.
It converts the Gamecubes digital signal and outputs a proper RGB signal.
This was used on tradeshows at a time when PAL Gamecubes with native RGB were not available yet.
The small board is also found in that uber expensive Gamecube Component Cables and could be modded back to output a Component Signal.
What could I ask for it?

This is pretty neat, never knew something like that existed. And I'm not really into the gamecube so perhaps my estimation will be bad but perhaps 2/300$?

Considering the price of the component cables I'd assume this could go for quite a lot, probably in the $300-400 range, does it do progressive scan or just 480i?

If you remove the red wire on the small chip, it is acting like a component cable with progressive scan.
It seems they had Component and RGB always in mind.

Nice. I have one of these prototypes from Nintendo but it converts Gamecube video out to VGA. Have no idea what they would be worth though :p
