Decided to actually join after lurking for awhile. I'm a 360 XDK enthusiast. Don't know what really drew me to it, guess it was I enjoyed the 360 a lot like everyone else. I own a few kits, kinda hoping to broaden my collection in the future. Also lurked on assembler but never really posted myself. Hope to have a good time here and hope I meet some like minded people.

Do your 360s have original hard drives? I am curious if you have dumped them.

Two of the full dev XDKs I have (both eParts mediaroom kits) both had dead drives and the two demos I've had (no longer have them) neither had drives. I have the original drives for them in storage somewhere.

Right on. If you ever get units with drives, be sure to always dump them, even if they are empty.
