I'm looking for some interesting platformers that never made it west.
I'm primarily looking for them on PS1,PS2, Saturn, Famicom and Super Famicom.

You Tube it's always the same 5 or 6 games people are highlighting. Since I've been buying up these games for a You Tube series I've been planning, I thought I'd seek out the games nobody talks about.

Every Import you tube video ever: Did you know Super Mario 2 was Doki Doki Panic in Japan?

Meanwhile I'm trying to find interesting games I never heard of and *tumble weed*

Who on You tube is going to talk about U.F.O. Kamen Yakisoban? What game is more Japanese than an Instant Ramen Mascot beating the shit out of people?

If you want to to DC, Napoleon Tale is awesome.

It’s not JPN only but I never hear anything about Jersey Devil and I loved that game growing up

Sutte Hakkun for Super Famicom is technically a platformer, specifically a puzzle platformer.

Wasn't there a 3rd Jumping Flash that never left Japan?

Napple Take is a bit too Japanese heavy.

Hermie Hopperhead is indeed on my Radar.

There are tons of Doremon games how many are actually good?

Magical Tarurruto kun has an decent looking Super Famicom game.

There was a legendary thread on both HG101 and Assembler that covered Super Famicom games. It seems to have been lost to time.

It's weird, I've had no trouble finding Racing games, shmups and especially fighting games on old hardware.

But unique Platformers not so much. My next pending Japan lot has 12 games, half of which are fighting games. All 6 being fighting games that never came out in the west.

PSX had generic 3d fighting games out the ass.
