Why? What does it accomplish to keep that disc sealed in plastic if you don’t even know what it is or what it does? Seems like a waste.

Tell me if this statement is correct or not: museums typically preserve their artifacts by doing regular maintenance and restoration. It's not possible to do this if everything is permanently sealed in plastic. At the bare minimum, a museum would want to know what the original function or purpose of an artifact was - and the benefit of having this knowledge far outweighs the loss of a bit of plastic wrapping.

This is simply "my museum" , not an open museum..... i buy with my money for my satisfaction, i like only to share some rare pieces in this community to show people some stuff so they can try to buy somewhere.
Just for "product information", not the "functions information"

Product information is the knowledge of the existence of that item.
Functions information is the knowledge of the operation of the system specifications

It's a video demo disc. I found one just like it on ebay and politely asked the seller what was on it and this is what I was told:

Region code: 2
Overview:
-What's New on Xbox Live
-Blinks The Time Sweeper Welcome to The Blinx World

That makes sense. I think those videos were actually included with some games, too.
