Loved this as a kid. (Called "Codename: Tenka" in the US
)

The game itself has unused graphics (from the demo) and debug material :

There also was a playable demo :

SLED-00690Lifeforce Tenka

SCED-00371Lifeforce Tenka/ Namco Tennis Smash Court/ Excalibur 2555/ Exhumed/ SpiderOfficial UK PlayStation Magazine CD 02 Vol. 2

SCED-00861Demo 1

There was a "black label" PS1 version and there even was a Windows 95 version...

And there was a "Rev.1 version" of Codename: Tenka.

Are there any alphas, betas or other rare material out there ? Id love to explore this even further.

Update :
According to site there was the following discs : SLES-00613, SLES-00614, SLES-00615, SLES-00616, SLES-00617 (french, german, etc.)

There's a rental version of SLES-00613 (Euro black label). I'm assuming it's the same as the normal retail as the disc ID is the same, but the disc art looks more like the demo version (plain black with text, except it says "Rental Only" obviously).
It's quite rare over here but maybe in Europe it isn't so uncommon, idk.

Oh ya I remember those rental-only discs. Have Soulblade and Wip3out myself.

Wipe3out "rental-only" has some musics missing, because of legal copyright issues...if I remember right.

Time to find SLES-00613 then, thanks :)
