I'm just listing what I know so far on those controllers. If you can add some info I'll add it up to the main post!

First hardware prototype:

This went on sale on eBay last year and I kept the pictures. It sold for about $1.5k and I have no idea who bought it :(

Prototype Ver. A:

The "menu" button is located on the D-pad slot, which is odd. They all have RJ11 plugs from as far as I know. Grey and Indigo variants. I've only seen 3/4 speeds too.

Prototype Ver. B "NR DISC":

This one is mine! There's a few of those around and they both come with the original GC plug or the RJ11 plug. Probably made for specific hardwares. I think there's a logo under the sticker but there's no way to be sure unless I remove my sticker...

Prototype Ver. B "DS4 3/4 Speed":

Stealing the pic from @Xe (sorry :v). Pretty rare DS4 model, starting to get the shape done. RJ11 plug. I heard there's a DS4 1/2 Speed too but I've got no pictures.

Prototype Ver. B "DS5 3/4 Speed":

Probably the most common variant. RJ11 plug here.

Prototype Ver. B "DS5 Full Speed":

Those come with the standard GC plug and have a golden logo on it. It's a shame most people don't post pictures of the back side because the serial number is back there.

Wavebird Prototype:

Now with the final shape, getting the wireless hardware to work. This is a full custom board that goes through the top of the shell. I found this picture on a Flickr account about 8 years ago, but it went offline. recently came back, go visit if you're curious: https://www.flickr.com/photos/icarusnick/albums/72157629155587626

Display models:

I don't think there's any hardware in there, just for display pretty much? Those were displayed at Space World 2000. I've never seen any of those in the wild so I assume they were destroyed after the expo. 5 colors were shown.

Display model of the Wavebird for the same expo, and something unknown? Maybe a magazine of some sort.

I want them all.
