Couple of photos of this kit which is quite rare. The BusBox has four slots for the two RAM carts (256mbit each) and space for additional carts (such as the 64DD ROM cart or even a Partner-N64 cart).

This kit was released in the latter half of the N64s life and supported the 8mb RAM expansion and 64DD.

Apparently kits such as this were used for Mario Party dev (Hudson being involved in the production).

I guess after buying this you're out of quite some monegi. All jokes aside, never seen this one before. If you think about it, this is probably the moment Nintendo development kits started to keep 4-slots for switching of builds.

Close ups of the BusBox and cart (with internals).

Bought it off eBay a few years ago (the seller had previously won it off Yahoo Japan Auctions not long prior)

Yeah only one I’ve ever seen sell publicly. These were used mostly by Nintendo and Hudson so unlikely many escaped. I’m certain more will turn up eventually though. The shill bidding dodgy seller on YJA recently listed a bunch of CodeWarrior software and flash writer cart interfaces specifically designed for this kit so it’s likely he has one or more to sell too.
