A month ago, I bough my first SFC off eBay for only $37.99 off a US seller. Any suggestions to play US SNES games on a SFC besides the cutting up a game genie method? Are US SNES game pcbs electronically compatible in a SFC despite it being shaped differently mechanically? But still, what do you guys think of my first ever import find?

$37.99 doesn't seem bad at all... My first import was a Japanese Saturn I snagged for about 60 bucks. Not entirely knowledgeable on the hardware of the SFC, but congrats on your first import!

SFC and US SNES console motherboards are the same. To play US games on a SFC you will need a bridge adapter, or you could take off the top half of the SFC.

Yeah, I agree with the adapter. Any other way you're gonna be left with an ugly SFC. Or I guess you can just take the US game you wanna play out of its shell, but that would be a pain in the ass if you want to swap games much.
