Need For Speed Most Wanted 2/2012 Research

As you know I'm stupidly addicted to Need For Speed stuff, about a year ago I found out a few dev kits were scraaped with early builds on and here's some of that information. I sadly cannot release the data due to copyright reasons, but I'll try and share as much information as possible.

This post will be randomly updated by me and Morphic.

Firstly, here's the old videos we had to take down from OG.



:) There's some Crysis/Homefront2 videos also.

Buildwise, we've found over 30 and here's their names. For those that do not know, Most Wanted was codenamed Hawaii.
Sidenote: There was an overwritten 360 build found on one of my old kits but nothing of value to use. That build was August 2012 so final, there's also a Ps3 preview disc which is final and a couple of 360 discs I've seen but not had dumped.

This is correct, for the base game. DLC however was made until around January 2013 (Those names/build dates will be added in a month or so.) This goes for the airport dlc etc. However we did once spot a build installed in late 2014 but we're unsure what happened to this.
 
So, you took down OG's videos? I thought it was EA. Also this is quite interesting because we can't see any update or DLC about that features anything about that late 2014 build, wonder what's its story. It might actually be a test build for Most Wanted U (Wii U's MW port) if you ask me.
Edit: turns out the Wii U version launched in March 30th 2013, so I have no Idea what happened to that strange "late 2014" build.

Actually, this one isn't really the E3 build, the one that made it into E3 2012. This is four (4) days older than E3 2012 and it doesn't feature two key elements that were present in E3 Demos, the Takedown Cam and some roads in the HUD. So yeah, I am looking for that build and hopefully lay my hands on it,
it does exist, somewhere... for the moment.

I have datamined this build, it does in fact include the takedown cam (just disabled), but you are right in saying that it's not the exact build used for e3.

Cr*p baskets, I wish I had that build... So does this mean we'll wait another generation or more for the data to be released?

I don't know if we will ever decide to release them, but I think it would have to be at least a few more years so that the publisher won't be too upset about it. We have no plans to release the builds anytime soon, sadly.

I don't know, you put it on Mega while it's still marked as " Private " on the Wiki.

the title id still is TEST****8 ?
my kit let me know the build is 2012 / Nov /30 from DLC build ....

normally, all builds were placed in game/FTPD99999/USRDIR/"HAWAII_something" and they sometimes are looking for stuff under TEST12345 folder.
 
there is one folder TEST00808 on my old DECR....
copyright reasons, share info only , ;)
it only DLC data ~~~ and memory issue it not work on DECH/retail ,, DECR only
