• Good day, Guest!
    Flowers in Chania

OG is raising money to form a non profit community interest company enabling us to preserve more history than ever before!

Unfortunately, like most things in life this is going to cost money and we're asking for some help from the community. All users will be given donator status, along with early updates and depending on how much you help us with we'll try to chuck in some free merch!

This will cost us roughly $850 for two years including business address/phone number etc which is needed to register a business bank account within the UK.

You can help us by making a custom pledge, or by making a general pledge as it all helps us greatly. We're happy for a one time donators via Ko-Fi, Patreon asks monthly so please be aware. To prevent charge backs we're unable to accept Paypal at this time. Although once live this will be sorted too!

One time donations can be sent via our Ko-Fi,

Or for monthly please visit our Patreon, Ko-Fi is preferred as they charge us less fee's. Become a Patron of Obscure Gamers!
  • The Obscure Gamers 2020 Light and Dark themes are now live! Please report any bugs and make any suggestions you may have to a member of staff.

How do you like the game? I just started playing it a couple days ago, and I really enjoy it so far.
Yeah I'm really enjoying it. Once i figured out the strategy and how everything works I started enjoying it a lot more.

It's funny how everyone seems so split on this game. I like it a lot and my girlfriend doesnt like it at all. I thought that was kind of funny

Please do - It may prompt me to pull my finger out to do something similar!
My bad. Been sicker than hell and staying in bed. I got it about a week ago and have already torn into it. I will eventually make a video on how this system works. Very much like the one that Ben Heck used in his project years ago. In fact, this design will be easier to mod than the one he used. Similar design but better for the mods in store.

Picked up WaveRace: Blue Storm for Gamecube for $3 at the thrift store. Has the case, but no manual. Also picked up Future Tactics for the Xbox CIB for $2. I don't even think I'll like Future Tactics, but I figured for 2 bucks why not.

My GameStop is closing, which means clearance time. Sonic Unleashed was to replace my disc after I accidentally sacrificed it to a garbage picked 360 that didn't want to open because the belt in the drive was slipping with how disgusting it was inside (forgot to press the eject button to stop the disc from spinning before force ejecting). Only Unleashed and Horizon was used. Everything else is new. About $130 in total. Could have done worse. Prices on stickers was not what I paid. Percentage off varied between new/used and console.

An almost-new Philips CM8833-II CRT monitor. It has PAL composite, digital RGB, and analog RGB inputs, and is capable of s-video with a simple mod. It's been used for approximately 4 hours in its entire life and came with the original box! I'm planning to replace its capacitors and mod it for s-video + give it a light cleaning, it's in ridiculously good condition with literally only 1 or 2 tiny unnoticeable scuffs on the case. I was happy to pay $250 AUD for it considering I only paid $20 for my Philips CM8833 (seen below).

It'll go nicely in my 90's RGB SCART monitor collection:

Some Digimon / Hamtaro Plushies that I deem to be nostalgic :p

...Alright, I've gotten lazy. Here's a list of some other purchases I've made lately.

These are not all of my recent purchases. But some of them I feel are too personal to share just yet. :p
