I just got in a XGD3 test copy of Halo Reach recently.
It's a four board set, there's two boards in each stack. The smaller board on the left top is the sound board, underneath it is a ROM board. The large board on the right is the main CPU board, underneath which is the graphics board. The first game for this system was Hang-On. Although there's only 5 games released for this platform, there's two major hardware variants, with Space Harrier/Enduro Racer using this one. There's also two distinct sound boards, this one is the rarer YM2151 version. As you can see this hardware also uses the encrypted 68000 CPU with a suicide battery, but thanks to recent work those can now be reprogrammed even after the battery has failed.
Very nice condition. What is that second board for? Never had my fingers on a Sega Super Scaler bevore.

Holy moly that is a nice console. How much does it cost? Ugh... I really shouldn'tPlaced a preorder on it, awaiting pickup on 8th of November. I'm so excited!View attachment 3434

Hi Pinta77,
Here in Australia, it costs $659. An absurd amount of money, I know, but more for the collection. Hahaha.
