I have a problem with my Japanese sega saturn.
It’s a V0.8 (?) and I want to replace the bios with a region free one.
I desoldered the dip chip put in a socket and tested it with the original bios.
I got some chips (27c160 + 400 ) and a programmer, found some region free bios files online and programmed the chip.
But none work.
I have files 1 mb bit swapped but no go.
Anyone have had problems like this before ?
The programmer is a GQ- 4x4 with the adapter for the 27c160 and 400 chips
