PS2 Street Fighter EX3 (SLUS-20130) CD to DVD Conversion not Booting

I'm trying to convert my cd disc of street fighter ex3 into dvd so I can boot it through PCSX2, or FREEDVDBOOT
So far all my attempts have failed. I followed Cut Into Fourteen Pieces guide. I'm only getting a black screen on boot, and that's it and nothing else. I think this game might have some sort of lba check, so it does not run. if any knows how to convert this bin into a dvd iso, please let me know.

Some months ago on another forum a member was having trouble converting the PAL version of this game to use on real hardware via OPL.
He did get it working eventually iirc.

I'm assuming you don't have a chipped console, but you also can't boot CD-R backup using MechaPwn?

I haven't tried MechaPwn. I want to get it boot off of freedvdboot.

The PAL version probably does have some unusual check/LBA table and whatever CD/DVD tools can't convert successfully.
It's on an old list of CD games that can't be converted (list dates back 10 years or maybe more).

I guess the US version has the same problem?
