PS1 What’s a direct replacement to the 440-ACM laser?

I know you can use alt models to replace lasers on a PS1. What is a compatible model to the 440-ACM laser? Not finding much via google at all.

ACM models on eBay basically don’t exist. I’ve already adjusted the pots but I still have read errors and fmv skipping. Just needs a replacement

The KSM-440BAM has the same ribbon cable and will fit - but you need to swap over the top cover.

Awesome, thanks. I had the cover off today checking the laser mech so I know how it’s done
