XenForo says Oct 18, 2008, but actually I originally register in 1998...
I forgot another holy grail for me: the SEGA ST-VE, an enhanced variant of the ST-V (Saturn) board that significantly increases its performance... I would absolutely love to put my hands on one and play with it...

Ehhh what? This has to be a Dev Kit. Why would Sega release a commercial board like this? Please elaborate a bit more.

Ok, I will create a thread about this on the Rare & Obscure gaming subforum...

For me my holy grail is WipEout 2097 preview version and Tenchu 1 preview version :)
I have on my collection two rare builds of Tenchu 2 (one preview version and one gold-master reviewable disc). :)

Never heard of this. Couldn’t even find a google article. What’s the story on this?

Honestly, all I really want is the Fallout 2 Can of Gecko, and every Vault Boy bobblehead ever. :)

I started a thread about it in Rare & Obscure gaming, promptly derailed towards M2 ;)

My holy grail used to be a Sega Demo System DS-16 but I have one so that off my list. (It's a store demo 6 cart jukebox for Genesis/ Megadrive.)
I guess next is a consolized Neo Geo MVS. I have 2 MV1C boards and thinking of sending them off to be consolized. Want that Arcade Works treatment done to them.
I also think having a legit Chihiro system with all the expansion boards would be neat.

First things i get in my head are Secret Of Mana (seiken densetsu 2) and Final Fantasy Tactics Betas/alphas. They had so much stuff cut, changed, rewrited... That finding one would keep fans and romhackers busy for years....

RunWhiteboyRun, there is not much info about it. All we have is an arts from Policenauts Pilot Disk (1995) and confirmation that the game was in development in 1994.

Enough Sucker Punch development hardware/software to edit its WAL archives and have the game still load them properly.

Early prototypes and betas of Turok: Evolution for the GameCube, PS2 or Xbox. (Or PC but there are pretty much none except for a debug copy as it was a direct port of the final Xbox build)

A Destroy All Humans! beta, any really lol
maybe one with a debug menu

The beta of that game has always made me wonder why they toned down so much of it, tech wise
