is it possible to have widescreen + 60fps battles in Grandia 2 US as a codebreaker code?

I did try codes for Grandia 2 US mostly because PAL version has issues in VGA lagging if I remember

codes unfortionatly is not a way to go as I quickly ran out of the limited space for codes (Codebreaker will start to delete codes once you hit over the limit)

EDIT

The problem comes up in battle it's the voices that get cut off, I don't know if this will work but thinking maybe mix files from US and UK versions (BTL folder from US copy in the UK copy) another minor annoyence was some magic FMV only shows one half mostly ground based (not sure if that happens in both, it's been a little while since my Dreamcast was booted)

Thanks you :)
I'll try it to understand with dead or alive 2 as the example.

For grandia 2, in the french translation project, we had Sync the voices for Fmv.
We noticed nothing else wrong in PAL version...
In 16/9 hex patch there is one glitch left, it's in pause menu, the item zoom are not good.

do you know if people from the original widescreen thread on assembler games (like Esppiral, S4pph4rad and the others) are still around?

There is only @megavolt85 and @Espirral has sent a message on dreamcast-talk recently but he's probably don't make widescreen hacks anymore.
@megavolt85 is working on the adapter of mapple.

But put your ask here, we may help you.

Adding a fix for a widescreen code I posted back in Assemblergames and adding a few others in case other forums don't have them.

Anybody know how to find an Enable codes? For some reason I can't play Dynamite Deka 2 NTSC J on my NTSC U console.
My current method is using a Codebreaker disc + original discs. This game is the only one that will not boot using this method.
I was wondering if Codebreaker needs an enable code for this game or if the booting depended on the video signal: composite, s-video, or VGA. I've tried them all with no luck.

Dynamite Deka 2 NTSC J
024FA848 43700000

Outtrigger NTSC U
0283E284 43700000

Capcom vs SNK NTSC U
(main menu mis-aligned)
023DCC60 43700000
021F2C1C 43F00000
023DCC90 43D20000

Thanks for adds, I'm sorry I didn't have time since a while I don't have a look again how to convert a codebreaker code to hex code like it's explain in DC emulation forum.

My issue was that I had a 30+ hours ongoing game on the USA NTSC version, and had just found out about a widescreen hack on the PAL version. I just tried loading my save on the PAL version, and it works !

Unfortunately, the PAL widescreen hacks has some item mis-alignments:

ps: I'm also looking for a Worms Armageddon or Worms World Party widescreen code ^^

You could play with widescreen patch in order to correct it.

Hello everyone, I was wondering if anybody knows a widescreen hex patch for Sonic Adventure JAP?
I couldn't find it anywhere, only the PAL/NTSC patches.

Not sure who to credit, but I found this one for Sonic Adv International JP. May have been from assembler games originally.

SONIC ADVENTURE INTERNATIONAL, JUE ,HDR-0043 V1.003
Code:
FIND
24118A8C 5C118A8C 50118A8C 58118A8C
REPLACE
30118A8C 44231E8C 50118A8C 58118A8C
It needs a render fix for shadows since are still rendered in a 4:3 aspect ratio, other than that works like a charm on my Dreamcast, and unlike the action replay code, clipping seems to be gone.
Take it as a Wip, even though I don't think I am going to spend anymore time on it since it is playable and displays in 16:9
60 FPS
Code:
2C75683C->00000001
2C756844->00000001
Sonic Adventure International (JP)
02037040 8C8A1124
02037044 8C1E2344

@megavolt85

Are you still taking requests to port additional widescreen codes from one region to another?
I know you are busy with the Atomiswave catalog :)

@demilich Thank you so much for putting effort into sharing these codes! Unfortunately, I was rather looking for the hex patches of the original 1998 Japanese release of Sonic Adventure. The reason as to why I want specifically the codes for the 1998 release is because from my experience the Game has a few better features, like better camera angles or Sonic's running animation has an awesome looking blur effect, which was removed from the international releases.

Anyways, I'm still grateful and I really appreciate your help!!!
