Don’t forget to inspect your capacitors every six months

I get too many emails asking if I repair trace damage from leaking capacitors and electrolytic fluid damage. I always recommend a six month cap check of all retro hardware. Hopefully this helps some people and gets them in the habit!

I recommend running the system at the same time. I do a decent number of capkits and the difference is often very noticeable between a system that has been actively used and one pulled out of storage.
