You don't have to load the discs with the 0x000f0002 0x100, usually 2 100 is enough. In my experience, the only time the full string is required is when I'm loading something that needs special commands (such as using high-res cables other than VGA) or an unpacked ELF, such as uLE. That could be your issue.
The 0x000f0000 0x100 command is usually succeeded by "run (local elf file)", such as "run SLPS_250.52" in the /usr/local/sce/bin folder. You should, I think, abe able to do files outside of that folder, but I'm not sure.
The only game I've had any problems with loading on my TOOL, period, is I.Q Remix+, and that's most likely to do with the kernel incompatibilities. That error shouldn't be arising for those games. the F means no reset of the kernel, so that could be your problem.
However, I'm talking from using dsedb on a linux computer remotely. So if you're not doing that, there may be a problem.
